At Tallow Chandlers' Hall on Wednesday 23rd July a Dinner was hosted by the Master for members of the Court and some of the Freemen and Liverymen of the Company. The Prime Warden of the Blacksmiths' Company, Mr. Christopher Childs, replied most humorously, to a welcome from the Master and commented how the evening was a wonderful culmination to the end of his year of office as he was handing over the following day.

Mr Michael Wren, Master, right, and Sir David Wootton who was elected as a Court Assistant at the earlier Court Meeting.

Earlier at the Court Meeting Sir David Wootton was elected as a Court assistant and Mr Neil Macintosh was elected as a new Freeman of the Company.

The Court was also delighted to announce that Mr. Richard Wilkinson our Clerk from 2002 to 2010 and again in the sad period after the death of Richard Sawyer would be installed as a Honorary Liveryman of the Company at the Court Meeting in October prior to the Agincourt Dinner on October 24th.
