British Blind Sport Outdoor Archery Championships, 13th September 2014, Lilleshall National Sports Centre, Shropshire

The Company supports this summer championship which draws blind or visually impaired archers from all parts of the nation. This year two competitors visited from Melbourne, Australia. Most noteworthy for the Bowyers' Company was that one of the competitors was shooting with a long bow - made of bamboo! Conditions were excellent and the day was enjoyed by all. After shooting finished for the day and the obligatory fund-raising raffle the prizes were presented by the Master Bowyer in his guise as Lord Paramount of the meeting.
