A message from the Master Bowyer, Mr Peter Harrow

Welcome to the Worshipful Company of Bowyers website. This modern means of communication links you to one of the most ancient Livery Companies of London, going back to the 14th Century and before, when bowmen played a decisive part in the history of England at such battles as Agincourt, Crecy, Poitiers and many more.

Archery is still a very active sport both in competition and as a hobby. Enjoy your browse and should you require further information or wish to purchase a book of our history, please contact our Clerk, Richard Wilkinson via, 'Contact Details' link in the menu.
